Privacy Policy

BUDCYBER (Pty) Ltd and its domains and services ("BUDCYBER.com") has the following Privacy Policy with respect to information gathered on Web pages hosted by BUDCYBER ("Service Pages"). Such information is received by both BUDCYBER and any possible Partner through which BUDCYBER provides our services to you. You should contact the Partner to determine the privacy policy, if any, that applies to Partner's collection and use of such information. However, in no event shall BUDCYBER be liable for Partner's use or disclosure of such information.

The terms "we" and "us" refer to BUDCYBER (Pty) Ltd  (BUDCYBER.com).

Partner refers to Data Centre, Network, Server and other providers for the operation of BudCyber operations, third party payment Gateways and other possible suppliers to BudCyber.

The Information We Collect

We value the privacy of our visitors/customers and takes every known precaution to safe guard the information we collect from unauthorized use. The following is a detailed explanation of the privacy policy.

This notice applies to all information collected on the BUDCYBER Web site or submitted to BUDCYBER at any time through any Service Pages.

Personally Identifiable Information—When visiting BUDCYBER's or any Partner's Web site and signing up for or using BUDCYBER services through any Service Page, you may choose to supply BUDCYBER with information that identifies you personally. For End-Users, this information may include your Company and Personal name and contact information, gender, birth date, occupation and industry, shipping and billing information, credit card numbers and other payment information, behaviour patterns, purchase history, and other information. We collect prospect information, which may include name and contact information of individual(s) you think would be interested in our services. For Partners, this information may include your name and contact information, your Web site information (name, URL, visitors per day, page views per month, description, categorization), payment information (check payee, SSN/Tax ID, bank information), and user comments.

Aggregate Information—We collect non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our Web site and services, and DO NOT share the aggregate data with advertisers and other third parties.

Each of BUDCYBER's Partners has access to information specific to their site only. Each Partner will determine what it will do with their collected information; however, each Partner has individually agreed to abide by this Privacy Policy and the BUDCYBER End-User Agreement. You should contact the Partner to determine the privacy policy, if any, that applies to Partner's collection and use of such information. However, in no event shall BUDCYBER be liable for Partner's use or disclosure of such information.

Collection of Personal Information from Children under Thirteen

BUDCYBER do not allow children known to be under the age of thirteen (13) to register for our services.

The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself or others to complete the transaction for which the information is intended. Such transactions may include administering a service, such as email, search, community, advertising sales, ecommerce; completing an order; shipping a product; replying to support requests; or contacting you if you have granted us permission to do so. We do not share this information with outside parties without your permission except to the extent that is necessary to administer the services we offer our Partners and End-Users.

From time to time, we also use the information you provide about yourself or others to inform you of additions or improvements to the BUDCYBER services. When supplying name and contact information to BUDCYBER, you can indicate your preference to receive or not receive information and updates about Partner's services or special offers from other companies program or other registration processes.

We may also use personally identifiable End-User information to provide targeted content and commerce opportunities to End-Users based on their demographic and behavioural information.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways or for reasons unrelated to the ones described above without also providing an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures reasonably designed to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to secure personal identification. In addition, personnel who have access to our database are trained to maintain and secure all information

How You Can Access or Update Your Information

Partners can access your personally identifiable information that BUDCYBER collects online and maintains by logging in to your password-protected (SSL encrypted) Control Center account and selecting "Edit My Profile only on services and systems in which Partner is a Partner and such Partner will NOT have access to other services or systems." End-Users can access your information by logging in to your password-protected End-User account and selecting to update your "Personal Info." You can also correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly documents and explains the error.

If you have submitted information on our site but do not currently have an account with us, you can access and correct the information that we collect and maintain by contacting us.

To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections to your information.

Email, Search, and Community Specific Terms and Conditions

BUDCYBER considers email transmitted via our service to be private correspondence between the sender and recipient. Therefore, we will not monitor, edit, or disclose the contents of your private communications, except for reasons provided for in the End-User Agreement.

Content posted to public community areas is publicly available and BUDCYBER reserves the right to remove any publicly posted content that is objectionable.

Advertising Sales Specific Terms and Conditions

BUDCYBER does work with third parties that serve ads on some services/systems. These third parties may use the demographic and/or behavioural data provided by Partners to deliver relevant, targeted advertisements to the Partner Site. This demographic and behavioural data is obtained and maintained in a manner such that no connection can be drawn between the profiles supplied to the third parties and the End-User's personally identifiable information.

 

What Information do we Collect?

We believe it is important for you to know what types of information we collect when you use our site. We employ various methods for collecting information. To begin with, we use cookies? that are needed to compile aggregate non-personally identifiable information about the visitors to our web site. Personally identifiable information consists of information that is unique to you, such as credit card numbers, bank accounts, social security numbers, home address, email address and the like. This is the type of information that most people consider private and deem the most important to protect from unauthorized access. Non-personally identifiable information most often consists of things such as your search preferences, the types of products you have bought, how many times you have visited a particular web site, etc.This type of information is usually associated with a particular computer or IP address but not with a particular person. Why do we collect this Information?

We use this information in order to serve the needs of our customers. We need to know who you are in order to verify the credit card information you have sent us. We collect several pieces of personal information from you in order to complete this verification process. The non-personal information that we collect from you is used in order to offer you better service and to make your experience with our site more enjoyable.Any information that we may inadvertently collect from you, that does not serve one of these reasons stated above, is immediately purged from our system.

How is your Information Protected?

We use the latest in encryption technology, including 128 bit SSL encryption to ensure that any sensitive information that is sent by you to us via the Internet is protected from unauthorized interception.We employ the latest in firewall protection to prevent unauthorized access into our information storage areas. We maintain a rigorous hiring process to screen out potential employees with criminal backgrounds. All employees that we do hire have to sign a confidentiality agreement that forbids them from disclosing any information to which the employee has access, to other individuals or entities.We also have back up servers and power supplies to guard against power outages and other natural occurrences that could pose a threat to the integrity of your personal information. Passwords are required in order for you to gain access to your account. Once an account has been terminated, measures are taken to remove those users from the system who no longer need access to our system.When an employee is terminated or is no longer with the company, we change the access codes that the employee used to access any customer accounts.

Who has access to this Information?

Only those employees that are responsible for handling your account have access to your information. Additionally, employees in our technical department may have access to your information in order to conduct routine checks on the integrity of our system and in order to perform necessary maintenance work. In order to process your credit card we have to consult with an out side credit card processing company. These processing companies are regulated by the banking industry and must meet certain security requirements in order to be in business.The processing companies will have access to your credit card information, billing address, name, and possibly your telephone number. The processing company will communicate with the issuing bank of your credit card in order to get final approval to charge your credit card for the product or services we are providing for you. Should you choose to receive additional information regarding one of our services or products, we may pass your email address to one of our partners who offers similar products or services that you might be interested in.Additionally, judicial requests by a duly authorized court will require us to divulge certain information regarding your account should that situation arise. Finally, should our company ever be bought or sold, your account information would then become the property of the new owner/entity.

Can I correct or Remove Information from Your Site?

You always have the option to view your account to make sure the information we have collected from you is indeed correct. You also have the option of removing any information from your account that you wish to keep private.However, please note that removing certain information such as your email address, contact information, and the like may greatly hinder our ability to effectively provide the service or products you have requested. We recommend, that you contact us first to discuss which information you may remove without interrupting the quality of service we intend to provide for you.

Can I Opt out of having certain Information Collected?

You have the option of disabling your computers ability to accept or transmit cookies. This will prevent us from gathering certain non-personally identifiable information from you. You also have the option of removing yourself from any email distribution list that you may have signed up for.

NOTICE OF CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time. However, if any changes do occur, we will publish the changes to our web site and post a notice on the home page that a new privacy policy has been implemented. We will also take reasonable steps to contact you personally to let you know of the new changes.Should the company be bought or sold to someone else, we will take reasonable steps to notify you personally. You will then be given the option to keep your account open or to terminate.
