Spam Filters in Hosting
If you get a hosting plan from our company and if you take advantage of our mail services, you’ll be able to set up anti-spam protection for any of the mailboxes that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With only a few clicks, you can select between five different levels of protection. If you start getting spam, you can start with the lowest one and then gradually boost the level till you stop receiving spam. We use one of the best and most famous spam filters available called SpamAssassin. It analyzes the header field and the body of each email message that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either erases a given email message or permits it to enter your mailbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also permit you to configure custom spam filters and either erase undesired email messages or redirect them to a 3rd-party address such as email@example.com where you can read them once more after that.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you use one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting service, you will not need to worry about spam messages stuffing your mailboxes all the time, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin email filter that we offer with each and every semi-dedicated hosting account. Our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any email account with a few clicks of the mouse and you can select any of the 5 levels of safety – from very high to very low. The level can be altered at any moment if, for instance, authentic emails get filtered, or if spam messages go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered emails to be delivered to a special mailbox such as firstname.lastname@example.org and not to be deleted. Thus, you can check them every now and then to ensure that you haven’t missed out on a genuine email message.
